First up are some Age of Sigmar chain rasps. They were in the cheap Issue #1 so I bought lots of them as generic project fodder. These ones will be having game time as Spectres in my Nightstalkers army for the Firefight rules by Mantic.

Next is the second half of a unit of 25mm javelinmen for my ancient Gallic army. These figures were sculpted by Irregular Miniatures a few decades ago and they are still serviceable. My Gauls will be fighting Romans using the Clash of Spears skirmish rules.

Last photo is some 28mm Frankish crossbowmen, suitable for 10th to 13th century armies. Most likely they will have table time as part of a Lion Rampant army.

Chromedog tries his hand at One Page Rules.

https://oztabletopgaming.com/index.php?/topic/7375-chromedog-tries-his-hand-at-one-page-rules/&do=findComment&comment=20591

Who doesn't like dropping heavy flamer templates that wound based on initiative?

Regarding painting did some stuff last month but sadly never finished anything so hopefully can do so this month if my work would leave me alone (working from 10pm tmr night to 8am Saturday, yay). Big nights knacker you as you get older for weeks...sigh. Anyway, on a positive I have a few units close to completion, subject to motivation and time.

So happy June folks, and Hey @Krefey, Tuesday 16th next KoW event at Akikambara. Pls let me know if you can make it. Last Tuesday (2nd June was just crap weather, and I had to work late blah , blah so failed to make it, a few of the reg locals were also AWOL so not sure what happened on the night). They play a bunch of other games there anyways (Halo, card stuff I have no clue of so probs interesting in general for your average gamer) and they have some paints etc so always something going on.

June hobby achievements

https://oztabletopgaming.com/index.php?/topic/7627-june-hobby-achievements/&do=findComment&comment=20587

Ugh, actually missed that it was now June.

Yay!

This is my selection of French soldiers for The Silver Bayonet. I'm still missing a couple of options, but they can wait until I find the right figures. Front row are officers. Second row are grenadiers, sappers and artillerists. Third row is a dismounted cavalryman, marines and a native guide. Back row are basic infantry.

Next in my Silver Bayonet project will be figures in civilian clothes. These will have multiple uses: some of the unit specialist types, game objectives or normal-looking monsters.

My next few paint batches will be on other projects. I have a big game of Lion Rampant in a few weeks time, so have the urge to finish a couple of units that have sat half done for a couple of years. Plus some more figures for the Mantic Firefight rules and the other half of a unit of ancient Gallic javelinmen.

Hello from the Slave Dungeon

https://oztabletopgaming.com/index.php?/topic/7607-hello-from-the-slave-dungeon/&do=findComment&comment=20560

I think you are fine showing off your miniatures for sale. some of you may know me already through our business, Slave 2 Gaming, but if not my name is Drew.

Ive been a lurker here for some time, never quite sure if I should share on here as a small miniature business. I dont tend to have a lot of time to do my own personal painting and gaming, and so most of what I do get done is business stuff.

How would people feel if I shared pics from my business? Is this even allowed?

Anyway, its freeing to just be chatting with like-minded people in Oz.

Chromedog tries his hand at One Page Rules.

https://oztabletopgaming.com/index.php?/topic/7375-chromedog-tries-his-hand-at-one-page-rules/&do=findComment&comment=20557

So, we had 10 players at our little tournament. The Archon Studio Prismacast (pre-painted) terrain is only $10usd more than the same kit in bare plastic, so very affordable - but this is GW, why charge little money when lots of money is an option?
