A few more terminators for the death guard. I think this might mark the end of painting infantry. I do have a few more dark imperium marines, but think this is probably enough. Next up will be a couple of dreadnoughts, a third party greater demon, then repainting some old death guard vehicles.

It is worth watching.

That's a huge update. Those deathguard vehicles all look very cohesive. Re. Battletech, is it good form to go with an established house/faction, or can you create your own?

And the Discovery, which was mentioned a long time ago. The feature of this kit were the decal sheets. There were a lot of them.

Superb painting, as always. I particularly like the framed picture of Skeletor.

That’s the one. It is going to get some special treatment reflecting my daughters interests and so, avoiding any Imperial entanglements.

There has been a long running joke in our family every Christmas and birthday. Whenever my eldest daughter receives a gift she tries to guess what is is before unwrapping it. No matter what shape the gift is, she always guesses “Star Destroyer”. Last Christmas, I gave her a star destroyer model kit, surprising everyone. She was never going to build it, so I put it together and am painting it up for her for a second round of the same joke.

For next month, I will be painting a Star Destroyer.

Noooooooo! Don’t call it now! I’m not in this for the money. The main reason I enter each month is to help keep this challenge going - I want to see what everyone else paints. The bale eye is red. I will see if I can get a better photo of it.

For the metal areas? The gold is a base of GW Retributor armour. The "Silver" areas are Army Painter Platemail metal. Wash both with Vallejo Sepia shade. A second wash with dilute black and its done. I have not tried speed paints (of any type) as yet. I think I'm too entrenched in my painting habits to make that change!
