I think a second clamp should have been applied to the underside of the chassis. There has been some separation of the second half of the hull overnight. I’m looking at this as an opportunity to make this Titan unique.

The internal wall was sitting too high. It prevented the reactor cover from sitting flush with the hull. Rather than cutting into the reactor, I opted to cut out a section of the internal wall. This section of the interior will not be visible so I didn’t feel like I was losing anything. That being said, the pendulum is swinging towards “How not to build a warhound Titan”.

Oooh Warlord Titan would be amazing to see.  Then one day we need to try and get all the Titans and Knights of Oztabletopgaming onto one table together....

I’m quite envious! The warhound is my only Titan and I am enjoying the process so much I would like to have a go at another large project in the future. I’ve had the thought of converting one my many unassembled 1/35 model kits into the robot form of a transformer but don’t think my scratch building skills would be up to that challenge yet.

I don't have any...this Stormlord is the largest model I have tackled I think ever and I struggled with the damn instructions.  Hate to think trying to put a Titan together.

The magnets arrived today! 20mmx8mm.

I have drilled a 22mmx20mm hole in the waist so the magnets should sit flush once some green stuff and glue is applied.

I’m certain you would be fine with it. Let’s hope GW do a plastic Titan one day…

More construction and a little bit of painting. I have decided that the reactor has to go. It is way too thick, even with the modifications I have made. As such, I think I will scratch build a new, flatter reactor. It doesn’t have to be highly detailed, as it won’t be very visible under the brass etch grill. Time to raid the bits box.

Let me know if you want me to bring my bits box around for you to have a look through, plenty of left over bits from the Baneblade kit....but a lump of space invader and some tentacles would suit a Nurgle aligned Warhound as a reactor I think...

Haha, how big is the bits box? No problem if it is too large as I will likely have enough in mine.

The new, slim line reactor has been cobbled together using and old land raider engine and some miscellaneous vehicle posts donated by Big (thanks!). I’ve given it a very basic paint job.

Even thought you're going with dirty traitors, I really like the colours and paint job so far.  That pale green is great, especially with the weathering!
