Oldy Posted December 29, 2020 Share Posted December 29, 2020 (edited) Ok, so my project for this year will be to get all my current horde of Lannisters for the A Song of Ice and Fire Miniatures Game (as in, those that are currently on order and yet to arrive won't count... although I'll likely do those too) from the undercoated state in these pics to the same "Napoleonic standard" I've done my Starks (the painted dudes in the pics). For those playing at home, that's: 2x12 Pyromancers 2x12 Crossbowmen 2x12 Mountain's Men 4x12 Guardsmen 5 Guard Captains 3x4 Knights of Casterly Rock The Mountain that Rides King Joffrey, his 7 Kingsguard and 4 Baratheon Banners 2x Ser Gregor Clegane (starter version and KS exclusive version) 2x Sandor Clegane (starter version and KS exclusive version) Cersei Lannister 2x Tyrion Lannister (The Imp, and The Halfman) Pycelle Tywin Lannister 2x Jaime Lannister (The Young Lion, and the Maimed Hostage) 2x12 Halberdiers 3 Assault Veterans The Iron Throne 3x12 Poor Fellows 2x12 Warrior's Sons The High Sparrow 3 Champions of the Faith, and 10 Activation Banners 263 miniatures FTW. 181 points, or 4.5 standard-game armies. Oldy Posted January 3, 2021 Author Share Posted January 3, 2021 The PVA on the tufts is a little wet in this shot, and I've touched up a couple of spots, but this is my test colour scheme for my Lannister horde. Up close you see all the wonky bits, but the distance shot is what they'll look like in real life on a table.
