Wow! I thought the game had died along with Dystopian Wars. It's good to see it's still alive and kicking.

Holy moly....

That Sorylian battleship makes me want to try and get this going again. But I also struggle to expect a decent scene for it sadly around here.

I agree.  But I've got a very big painted Directorate fleet and will collect a second fleet when they start producing models.  Then I just need to find people willing to play - not commit resources to a new game.

Warcradle Studios, aka Wayland Games, picked up the IP for all 3 of the Spartan Games systems, I think that Dystopian Wars is about to be re-released (or has just been re-released if they're starting on Firestorm)

Will be interesting to see what happens with the game now.

That's fair. A great way to do it too. 

I've struggled with this previously with bot really being keen for any of the forces in the starter sets. 

I'll be watching this with interest and will start reaching out to some to get some interest around playtesting too. 

The second edition ruleset was really fun and simple.

Firestorm was always one of those games I meant to get into, and never did. Hopefully it is successful in making a comeback.

There was at least one other who started it in second edition in Warrnambool at the time who may still be interested. Would be worth asking at one of the tabletop days.
