How did I not find this earlier? A fan made adaptation of the objectively best edition 5th ed (sarcasm, but not) sexing it up a bit with more modern rules and codexes. If and when I get the chance to play 40k again it's going to be this version! (Not a fan at all of all the book keeping and turn-to-turn limited abilities, stratagems etc you need to track in 9th ed)

Quite seriously asking as I don't know.

Why is 5th objectively the best edition?  I am asking from a position of ignorance as I've never played anything newer than 3rd and 9th looks awful to me.

My current armies are set up to play 2nd and rogue trader.  (some of them can't play anything else - quite a large army of squats for example).

That was just me being silly and making the tired old "THE EDITION I LIKE IS OBJECTIVELY THE BEST ONE REEEEE", of course it's all subjective 😛

I'm just a fan of true line of sight, vehicle armour/weapon facings. Most likely because it's the edition I first learned and played the most.
